Hi! I'm George Arnos,
an XR programmer and video game developer
based out of New York City.

Hi, my name is George Arnos and I'm an XR Engineer and video game developer. I enjoy building 2D + 3D worlds with the most advanced technology creating immersive and unique experiences. I've been a programmer for over ten years with experience in developing applications with Unity, Unreal engine, and from scratch. My passion is developing interactive apps that people remember. I am currently considering positions in the New York City area and also remote.

Foretell Reality

At Foretell Reality, I worked on a group therapy support app that is designed to allow users to interact socially using avatars with full VoIP functionality along with rich media features such as viewing videos, PDF's, and images in the app. My work has included adding hand tracking, optimizing the media experience with anti-aliasing solutions, and supporting multiple platforms including Oculus Quest 2, Windows, and Mac OS.

Mend

Mend is an indie game in development being made by Digital Precept. I recently joined the project to prototype different communication systems. Mend is a 2 player cooperative game where one player is in VR and the other player plays with a controller on a normal screen.

An Instruction Manual for the Instant Pot in Augmented Reality

I created an instruction manual app for the Instant Pot using augmented reality. We chose Vuforia as the SDK which gave us the option to use model targets. Model targets allow matching between a 3D model used as a reference and the camera data that is pointing to a similarly shaped object.

Gun Assembly Mechanic for a FPS

What you see here is a gun assembly mechanic that is for a first person shooter in development for Digital Precept. This was created using Unity's XR Interaction Toolkit. The shooting mechanic will be added soon so stay tuned!
